Based in the Shoalhaven on the NSW South Coast, this role sits at the interface of maintenance, logistics, and project delivery—focused on planning, coordination, and ensuring aircraft maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to schedule. This opportunity is well suited to: Candidates with relevant experience in maintenance planning, or project environments who can operate in a structured, safety-critical setting; & Aircraft maintenance engineers or Inventory controllers seeking to transition into planning, coordination, and analysis role. Your responsibilities will include: Forecast, monitor, and manage MRO material demand to ensure parts and consumables are available to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance Identify supply chain risks and coordinate mitigation strategies to minimise impact to maintenance schedules Establish and maintain cost and schedule baselines across maintenance activities in support of the MH-60R TLS Contract Monitor performance against agreed baselines, analysing variances and supporting corrective actions Prepare reporting and provide insights to support decision-making and program performance Support and guide stakeholders in maintenance planning and Earned Value Management (EVM) principles Maintain accurate planning data to support effective execution and data integrity across systems Develop and manage reporting artefacts used by leadership to monitor program performance Review and maintenance work scopes and allocation of maintenance tasks against budgets About you: You bring experience from an aviation, defence, or similarly structured operational environment, with an understanding of how maintenance and logistics functions integrate to deliver outcomes. The successful candidate will demonstrate: Experience in maintenance and/or material planning within aviation, defence, or a comparable industry Strong analytical capability, with experience interpreting data to identify risks, constraints, and impacts to delivery Working knowledge of resource and capacity planning in a maintenance or operational setting Understanding of scheduling principles and exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM) Proficiency in MS Office (including Excel) and planning or ERP systems Why this role?
