Mona Vale Medical Centre is thriving General Practice and Skin Cancer Clinic that is now seeking an additional practice nurse. Part time position: Minimum 3 days: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday. Other days could also be available. Sundays also available. Joining our current team of nurses, your duties will include: Assisting our skin cancer doctor with skin procedures - including excisions, grafts, flaps etc. Immunisations - childhood (including catch-ups) and travel Assisting with procedures including advanced skin cancer Wound management ECG and spirometry Iron Infusions Care Plans and health assessments Sterilisation Supporting up to 10 GP's About you: Ideally have worked in a medical centre before Ideally you are a Nurse immuniser or willing to undertake the course, or have many years of experience with the childhood immunisation schedules. Best Practice experience an advantage (MD also helpful) Experience in wound management and assisting with procedures If limited medical centre experience; keen and willing to learn, able to multi-task.
