This position would be for 2-5 days per week for a mix of both telehealth and face to face sessions. We are finding a substantial percentage of our clients prefer to come to the practice in person. Working with the Barrenjoey Team This private practice has been established for many years on the Northern Beaches and has a positive reputation in the local community. We have a team of six experienced and caring clinicians who are all currently fully booked and provide a range of evidence-based treatments to our adult clients. These include treatment for trauma and rehabilitation, chronic pain, and illness, as well as depression, anxiety, ADHD and mood disorders. You will be enthusiastic about your role in guiding others to make positive changes in their lives. Our clients are referred by a wide selection of local GP's along with other services including health and insurance companies, local area health services and private hospitals. Our consulting rooms are fully furnished and comfortable, with a calm and welcoming waiting area. You will be invited to join our experienced psychologists for regular peer consultations and support. We are a supportive and friendly team who share collaborative engaging professional development opportunities and expertise. Individual supervision meetings are available with Principal psychologist Annemarie who is a Board approved supervisor and clinical psychologist. The practice has capacity for another clinical psychology registrar from 2026. We see clients across the life span in family groups allowing us to cross-refer some patients to others in the team. SELECTION CRITERIA You will be eligible to work with AHPRA as a Medicare provider. You will have your own professional indemnity and public liability insurance. You will possess good clinical skills and experience working with adults across the lifespan. You will ideally have previous experience in a private practice setting, working independently and communicating with referrers in accordance with Medicare requirements. DESIRABLE CRITERIA Demonstrated experience working across groups with differing demographics and presenting issues. Capacity to work after hours at least one day and weekends will be highly valued. • Capacity to see clients both F2F and via telehealth. We would value a practitioner with skills and experience in a range of evidence-based treatments such as CBT, Mindfulness based therapy and schema therapy according to the needs of the client.
