Requirements Service Electrician – Education Sector Maintenance Contract (Gold Coast) About the Company CV Asset Services is an integrated, multi-trade services provider specialising in the maintenance and minor works of critical assets across Queensland. We operate across complex and secure environments including education, healthcare, airports, transport, retail and commercial facilities. About the Opportunity We have an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity for a Service Electrician to join our Asset Services team, working primarily across a large education sector maintenance contract on the Gold Coast. This role offers stable, long-term work in a well-structured campus environment, focusing on planned and reactive maintenance, compliance testing, and minor electrical works. You’ll be part of a supportive service team delivering high-quality outcomes to a key client, with work based locally on the Gold Coast. Key responsibilities include: Delivery of electrical maintenance and minor works across an education campus environment Preventative maintenance and compliance testing Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of electrical systems Interpreting drawings, manuals, and maintenance documentation Completing works within required timeframes under a maintenance contract Providing a high level of customer service and clear communication on site Assisting with minor quoting and project delivery where required Maintaining regular communication with supervisors and the wider service team Participation in a paid on-call roster (approximately once every 3 months) You will bring: Current Queensland Electrical Workers Licence Current C Class Driver’s Licence (manual) 5 years’ experience in electrical service and maintenance Proven experience across reactive and planned maintenance works Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Confidence using mobile devices and job management applications Excellent time management and organisational skills A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and quality workmanship Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment Highly regarded but not essential: EWP / Scissor Lift licence Communications & Data Cabling licence Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas Certificate II in Split Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems Due to the nature of the contract, you must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain a National Police Check.
