Health Information Services Clerk The Royal Melbourne Hospital 2 full Time positions available (including one week of afternoon shifts per month). The Health Information Services Clerk plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of medical records, supporting the hospital’s dedication to delivering exceptional healthcare through accurate patient information management. Role Overview Operate and maintain computerised health information systems such as the Patient Administration System (iPM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), and Electronic Medical Record (EMR/Epic) systems. Collect, prepare, scan, and quality-check medical record documents. Liaise with internal and external departments to maintain the integrity of medical records. Handle patient information requests, monitor documentation deficiencies, and support MRN merging processes. Follow HIS procedures and participate in safety and quality programs.
