As the Finance Manager, Group Reporting, you will lead organisation‑wide financial reporting and control activities across the group. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Group Reporting, this role is responsible for month‑end consolidation, statutory and owner reporting, and acting as the subject matter expert on complex technical accounting matters. You will partner closely with finance, audit and senior stakeholders, drive continuous improvement across systems and processes, and support key initiatives including sustainability and impairment reporting. This is an 18‑month contract role, open to Sydney, Melbourne or Perth. What You’ll Do Manage month‑end processes and group consolidation activities Review consolidated financial statements for accuracy and completeness Prepare statutory, interim and group financial reports under AASB/IFRS Act as the technical accounting SME, preparing position papers as required Coordinate external audits and support Audit & Risk Committee reporting Lead continuous improvement across reporting processes and controls Support finance systems and consolidation tools, including Oracle FCSS Your Experience CA qualified with 8 years’ commercial experience Big 4 or similar professional services background Strong experience preparing consolidated group financial statements Deep technical accounting knowledge, including derivatives and hedging Experience with business combinations and complex transactions Proven ability to prepare papers for senior stakeholders or boards Advanced Excel skills and ability to work autonomously This role is ideal for a technically strong finance leader who thrives in complex, deadline‑driven environments and enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver high‑quality financial outcomes.
