Purpose of the Role BGIS is seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to support financial operations within a major government justice and community services portfolio based out of Parramatta. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate invoice processing, financial compliance, and efficient reporting. Your work will help maintain strong financial governance and support service delivery across essential public facilities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working with digital finance systems, with a focus on accuracy and positive stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities Validate invoices against contract requirements using digital platforms and AI-supported systems. Assist with Requests for Funding (RFF) and support invoice processing within financial systems. Work with finance and accounts teams to resolve billing queries and processing issues. Maintain compliance with BGIS systems, policies, and financial processes. Support monthly reporting, audits, and finance documentation. Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve financial queries. Education, Experience & Skills Essential: Experience in finance administration, accounts payable/receivable, or similar roles. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Confidence working with financial systems, spreadsheets, and digital platforms. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. Desirable: Diploma in Accounting or related qualification. Experience working within government, compliance-driven, or contract environments. Familiarity with finance systems and invoice management platforms. Workplace Flexibility This position is based on-site at the Client Parramatta office, supporting a key government services contract. The role is permanent part-time, between 16 and 20 hours per week, with flexibility around how those hours are structured.
