As a Senior Business Analyst within ART’s Technology Enablement team, you will lead end-to-end business analysis activities across complex initiatives that support meaningful outcomes for our members. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you’ll help shape fit-for-purpose solutions that align to ART’s strategy, delivery framework, and values. Key responsibilities include: Lead end-to-end business analysis for all change requests (normal, standard & emergency), including requirements elicitation, impact/risk assessment, and benefit realisation. Act as primary liaison between IT Operations, Development, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure changes are clearly defined and aligned with operational needs. Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring incidents and drive permanent fixes to improve application stability and performance. Conduct operational analysis to identify inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on stability, scalability, automation, and modernisation. Define, track, and report key operational KPIs and present insights with recommendations to senior leadership. Collaborate on application uplift projects (platform upgrades, cloud migrations, resilience, and technical debt reduction), translating pain points into prioritised backlog items. Facilitate stakeholder workshops, develop operational documentation/runbooks, and provide guidance to junior analysts. Contribute to operations and stability dashboards while ensuring ITIL compliance and proactive risk management. This role requires a strong blend of traditional business analysis skills with deep operational and problem-solving expertise, with a heavy emphasis on data-driven analysis and driving tangible improvements to application stability and operational excellence. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: Extensive experience delivering business and technical analysis within a large organisation Proven expertise in requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, documentation and stakeholder engagement Strong ability to translate business problems into effective technology and process solutions Demonstrated experience with data analysis, data mapping, and business process modelling or re-engineering Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business and technology teams at all levels Solid understanding of solution delivery methodologies including waterfall, iterative and agile Hands-on experience using requirements, delivery and support tools such as JIRA, Confluence & Service Now A relevant tertiary qualification (Business, IT, Finance or similar) and the resilience to deliver outcomes in fast-paced, time-constrained environments Experience within superannuation or financial services will be highly regarded.
