As part of this journey, they are replacing core technology systems across claims, HR, CRM, finance, and compliance, driving a significant uplift across the entire enterprise architecture over a 5 year program. About the Role An opportunity exists for a Senior Quality Engineer to join on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension, commencing on 6th May. You will be working within a high-performing QA function during a period of intense, large-scale testing across multiple systems simultaneously. The role will see you embedded within Agile delivery squads, where you will flex across different initiatives depending on demand. You will be responsible for both manual and automation testing, contributing across the full testing lifecycle including test case creation, execution, defect management, and reporting. This is a hands-on role requiring a balance of approximately 40% manual testing and 60% automation. You will collaborate closely with software engineers and stakeholders, ensuring quality standards are met while contributing to test strategies and summary reporting across enterprise-level systems. While there is no direct people management, you will work alongside an experienced Lead Engineer and a growing QA team of 13 testers. Skills & Experience Strong manual and automation testing experience API testing (Karate, Postman or similar) Automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, WebDriver) Ability to write and run automation scripts Agile / sprint environment experience Stakeholder communication & collaboration Test artefact creation (strategies, cases, reports) Experience in enterprise-scale environments (highly desirable) Ability to work across multiple initiatives in fast-paced programs This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a major enterprise transformation, where you will play a key role in driving quality across a complex and evolving technology landscape.
