01st April, 2026 We areseeking a hands on Workshop Leading Hand. You will be on the tools, leading from the front, while helping coordinate and guide a skilled workshop team, reporting directly to the workshop production manager. About the Role • Hands-on fabrication, welding, and container modification work • Lead and support a team of fabricators, trades assistants and contractors • Help plan and prioritise daily workshop jobs • Provide quick technical direction and problem-solving on the floor • Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard • Assist with workflow coordination and basic scheduling What We’re Looking For • Strong fabrication and welding experience (steel / structural) • Proven experience in a leading hand or senior trade’s role • Ability to read drawings and guide others through builds • Practical, solutions-focused mindset • Comfortable balancing hands-on work with team leadership • Someone the team can rely on for quick decisions and direction Salary $110,000.00 super Location South of River How to Apply If you’re a senior fabricator ready to step up into a leadership role, or an experienced leading hand who prefers to stay on the tools, we’d like to hear from you.
