About the role This opportunity is available on a full-time or part-time basis and is fixed term until 30 June 2027. The role is based in Queanbeyan and may include some travel. The Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS) Officer will deliver a population and preventative health approach to reducing Nicotine and Tobacco use among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across the South-East NSW regions. Assist with developing and delivering community education on the impacts of tobacco and vapour use to promote healthy living. Engage and collaborate with consumers, families/carers, GPH staff, consortium partners, GPs, and government and non-government agencies. Build strong community connections to enhance participation and support across Aboriginal Health initiatives.
