Our client, a family owned business based in Queanbeyan, is seeking a proactive, customer service professional to join their internal sales team. This is a permanent full time position, offering flexibility with start times and being able to obtain bonuses when targets are met. Key Responsibilities: Identify and gain new business opportunities, as well as capitalise on opportunities for growth with current customers. Take a proactive approach to understanding and addressing customer needs by providing guidance and recommending suitable product solutions within the industrial/trades space. Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and maximise their purchasing experience. Manage incoming leads, handle data entry, and facilitate workflow distribution through the company’s operating system. Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). About You: A proven sales professional with experience in the trades or industrial sector, or relevant experience in a similar industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Highly driven, resilient, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a competitive and dynamic environment. Excellent multitasking abilities without compromising service quality, ensuring all customer needs are met efficiently. Dependable, accountable, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
