Melbourne Wealth Management Contract or Temporary Our client is a US-headquartered global wealth management firm seeking an Equity Markets focused Client Services Associate to join their Melbourne office on an initial 12-month contract. This role sits within a high-performing client services team supporting advisers and their clients in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. It requires someone who is comfortable operating at volume, can manage competing priorities, and communicates confidently across both internal stakeholders and external clients. To be successful, you will bring a solid understanding of financial markets, the advice process, and broader product and industry trends, alongside strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. Key Responsibilities Facilitate end-to-end client onboarding, including preparation of account documentation and system set-up Maintain accurate client records in line with AML/CTF and KYC requirements Manage IPO and corporate action allocations Prepare client reporting, including valuations and asset allocation summaries Coordinate domestic and international asset transfers Process and monitor stock settlements and outstanding funds Manage and prioritise adviser requests in a high-volume environment Build effective relationships across internal teams and departments Contribute to cross-training and broader team support as required Identify and support process improvement initiatives Proactively communicate any issues to advisers and clients, providing clear solutions and timelines Experience & Requirements 1 years’ experience within equity operations, stockbroking operations, or a client services environment RG146 qualified (or willingness to complete) Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including ASX rules, AML, KYC, FATCA, and CRS Experience with asset transfers and sponsorship structures is highly regarded Familiarity with portfolio management platforms (e.g. Praemium) is advantageous Prior experience in a Client Service Manager or similar role is beneficial but not essential This is a 12-month contract opportunity offering a highly competitive rate, depending on experience, within a globally recognised platform.
