About the role: The Assessment Coordinator is responsible for the endâtoâend coordination, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of assessment operations across multiple courses. Reporting to the Head of Design and Build, this role plays a critical part in ensuring assessments are valid, reliable, compliant, and delivered efficiently through CPA Australiaâs Learning Management System. The position works closely with assessment, learning design, and technical teams to support assessors and learners, monitor assessment delivery, and leverage AIâenabled tools to enhance integrity, efficiency, and reporting. A strong focus on operational excellence, stakeholder support, and process optimisation underpins the role. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.  About you: You are an organised and detailâoriented assessment professional with proven experience in assessment delivery, exam operations, or LMS administration. You bring strong technical capability in configuring and supporting assessment systems, troubleshooting issues in live environments, and producing clear operational documentation and reports. You are confident working with assessors, learners, and crossâfunctional teams, providing timely support and guidance. You understand assessment quality, integrity, and compliance requirements, and are comfortable working with emerging AIâenabled assessment tools. Highly autonomous and collaborative, you continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the learner experience.  Key Responsibilities: Coordinate end-to-end assessment operations across multiple courses and all assessment types (online, invigilated, and hybrid) Work with the Learning Design team to setup the LMS for assessment including grading structures, rubrics, marking weightings and assessment events (marking windows). Coordinate system access for assessors and moderators. Support the implementation and use of AI-assisted assessment methods (e.g., automated grading, adaptive assessments, AI-supported feedback). Act as a key operational contact for learner and assessor during assessment windows. Coordinate the onboarding of new assessors and work with the Training Lead to provide guidance and training to assessors and moderators on assessment processes, LMS use, and AI tools.
