The hub will include:Dedicated space for SSI programs and enabling servicesEmployment and training facilitiesFlexible, mixed‑use spaces for community and partner organisationsBuilt in partnership with government and the local community, the Logan Hub is designed to be financially sustainable while delivering strong social outcomes.About the roleAs Logan Community Hub Manager, you will have end‑to‑end accountability for the successful operation, activation and performance of the hub.You will manage day‑to‑day operations, steward community and commercial partnerships, and ensure the hub delivers both social impact and long‑term sustainability.This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives at the intersection of place‑based community work, asset management and partnership development.Key responsibilitiesLead the operational management of the Logan Hub, ensuring safe, efficient and welcoming daily operationsActivate the hub through strong community, service and employer partnershipsManage leases, licences and shared‑use arrangements across hub spacesBalance social purpose outcomes with commercial and financial sustainabilityBuild trusted relationships with local stakeholders, community leaders and partnersLead, coach and support a small on‑site teamOversee compliance, financial management, risk, facilities and reporting requirementsAct as a visible ambassador for SSI and the Logan Hub within the local community About youYou bring a mix of community leadership, commercial acumen and operational capability, and are motivated by purpose‑driven work.Essential Criteria | You have demonstrated experience and proven success in:Experience in community or social infrastructure management, precinct activation, or multi-service environments.Strong commercial and financial acumen, including ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports, and forecast revenue and expenditure.Knowledge of leasing principles, commercial occupancy, and revenue-generating models for social infrastructure or community hubs.Proven ability to build and sustain productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government agencies, business networks, community organisations, and service providers- in the employment, training and entrepreneurship sectors.Balancing social impact with financial and operational sustainabilityPeople leadership and influence in a complex, community‑facing environmentWell‑developed judgement, initiative and problem‑solving skillsA deep commitment to inclusion, equity and community‑led outcomesDegree or formal education in related business, commerce or management field.Experience in community services, social infrastructure, local government, not‑for‑profit or purpose‑led enterprises will be highly regarded.Why join SSI?SSI is a leading not‑for‑profit social business supporting newcomers and other Australians to achieve their full potential.
