About the role: We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic CSSD Technician to join our clinical team on a full time basis. Monday to Friday flexible roster, with occasional weekend shifts available. Duties and responsibilities: This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes. Clean, sterilise, inspect and package surgical instruments Ensure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to Manage documentation Ensure equipment and stock are available for Perioperative staff Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across the hospital About You: You have a genuine passion for customer service, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have: Solid experience in CSSD in a surgical hospital Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilising Services Experience in the below specialties desirable Sound knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Sound working knowledge of AS 5369:2023 and Infection Control standards Demonstrated ability to organise the sterilisation needs of the operating and procedure room requirements Culture and Benefits: At Nexus, caring for our people, patients and employees is at the centre of everything we do.
