Permanent, Full-time | $137,358.18 - $159,150.21 12% superannuation | Hurstville About the Role The Head of Asset Data & Systems provides leadership and technical expertise to a team of Asset Specialists to deliver best‑practice asset management across Council. Working closely with the Manager Assets and Traffic, the role leads the development, review, and advancement of Council’s Strategic Asset Management Framework and asset management maturity. This includes driving the development and ongoing enhancement of Council’s Asset Management System, ensuring asset data, systems, and corporate applications support accurate administration, reporting, and long‑term planning for infrastructure assets. The position plays a key role in asset governance, financial management, and decision‑making by leading asset valuations and revaluations, supporting asset‑related financial policies, and providing high‑quality advice, analysis, and reporting to stakeholders. The role oversees asset data capture, condition assessment, compliance, and risk management, while also managing project governance, tenders, and consultant engagement in line with Council procedures. Through strong stakeholder engagement and cross‑unit collaboration, the Head of Asset Data & Systems contributes to Council’s strategic planning processes and ensures asset information and systems enable informed, transparent, and sustainable outcomes for the organisation and community.
