We’re looking for an Operational Change Advisor to help drive and embed change across our Customer Markets, ensuring our people and frontline teams are supported, engaged and ready for what’s next. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced change professional who enjoys working in large, frontline‑heavy and regulated operational environments, and partnering closely with leaders to deliver people‑centred, sustainable change. As an Operational Change Advisor, you’ll play a key role in governing and enabling change across Customer Markets. You’ll work across multiple initiatives simultaneously, applying structured change discipline to minimise operational disruption, improve adoption, and drive positive customer and employee outcomes. Reporting to the Operational Change Manager, you’ll partner closely with leaders and horizontal teams across our Customer Markets segment, with a strong voice in shaping change decisions, including timing, sequencing and readiness consideration s . In this role, you will: Partner with stakeholders across strategic and operational initiatives to align business, customer and people outcomes Apply consistent change governance, influencing early planning, sequencing and delivery approaches Assess change impacts and cumulative change load, advising leaders on readiness, timing and saturation risks Develop and deliver tailored change management plans that clearly articulate what’s changing, why, when and how Deliver practical change activities that support understanding, acceptance and sustained adoption Work with Operations and enabling teams to ensure processes, procedures and practices remain current as change is embedded Monitor change readiness and adoption, supporting leaders through targeted reinforcement activities Review delivered change to capture insights and contribute to continuous improvement in change delivery Support leaders and delivery teams to build change capability and confidence within their teams Ensure change decisions consistently consider downstream customer and frontline experience impacts What we’re looking for Demonstrated experience applying structured change management methodologies (PROSCI ADKAR experience preferred) Experience delivering change across multiple concurrent initiatives in operational or frontline‑facing environments Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the confidence to provide constructive challenge Experience coaching and supporting leaders to lead change within their teams Excellent facilitation, communication and storytelling skills Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities High levels of interpersonal awareness, empathy and resilience Relevant qualifications or experience in change management or a related discipline Why you’ll love working at AGL Be part of a purpose‑driven organisation committed to shaping a more sustainable energy future Work on meaningful change that directly impacts customers and frontline teams Collaborative, values‑led culture grounded in Care in every action, Integrity always, Better together, Deliver your best, and Shape tomorrow Flexible and hybrid working to support how you do your best work Opportunities to grow your career in a large, complex organisation undergoing significant transformation If you’re passionate about enabling change that truly sticks and want to make a tangible impact in a dynamic operational environment, we’d love to hear from you.
