Facilities Assistant AWX is seeking a motivated and practical Facilities Assistant in Logan to support the maintenance, inspection and improvement of community parks and facilities across the Logan region. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in facilities, asset maintenance, parks operations or civil works who enjoys working outdoors and contributing to well-presented community spaces. About the Role You will assist with: Inspecting parks facilities, playgrounds and amenities for safety, compliance and condition Coordinating minor maintenance and installation works Liaising with contractors and internal teams Responding to customer enquiries Supporting asset management, reporting and record keeping Contributing to forward planning and resource scheduling About You You will bring: Experience in facilities, parks, asset maintenance or similar field-based roles Knowledge of workplace health & safety practices Ability to work with contractors and stakeholders Strong organisational and record-keeping skills Sound computer skills (GIS or asset systems highly regarded) Current C Class Driver's Licence Construction Industry White Card Playground inspection accreditation or willingness to obtain is highly desirable.
