Status: Permanent position Commencement Date: Term 2, 2026 Position Location: Burgmann Anglican School, 4 The Valley Avenue, Gungahlin Line Managment: This position will be responsible to the Head of Senior School through the Art & Design Faculty Leader and ultimately to the Principal Duties: Plan and deliver a curriculum to Senior School students from Years 9-12 allowing for different learning styles and academic needs Prepare course materials Work collaboratively with other members of the Senior School team Participate in curriculum development Participate in professional development activities Liaise with students and parents Participate in the school’s co-curricular program Support the Christian ethos of an Anglican School Other duties as required Pastoral Care Take responsibility for a Pastoral Care class, including: Developing positive relationships with students Monitoring uniform, appearance and student behaviour Teach the Pastoral Care program Liaise with parents regarding academic and pastoral progress of students Undertake administrative tasks required Selection Criteria A relevant degree as well as a Diploma of Teaching or Education A passion for effective teaching, learning and an innovative mind set Familiarisation with a variety of workshop machinery and technology (eg. CNC router, 3D printers, lathes, etc ) Ability to teach all Digital Technologies units and courses. The ability to teach another subject is advantageous (eg.
