Description Norseman Region (OK, Scotia & Bullen) | Redpath Mining Redpath Mining is seeking experienced Charge Up Operators to join our underground teams across the Norseman region. Working on a 7/7 roster, you’ll support blasting activities safely and efficiently while contributing to a strong safety and team culture. Responsibilities Carry out Charge Up operations in line with site procedures and blast designs Handle, transport, and use explosives safely and compliantly Perform charging, priming, tie‑ins, firing and misfire management Maintain accurate records and complete all safety documentation Conduct pre-start checks, workplace inspections (Take 5’s, JSAs) Ensure work areas are barricaded and signposted correctly Work closely with supervisors, surveyors and production teams Report hazards, incidents, and near misses immediately Support continuous improvement and safe work practices across the team Qualifications Previous underground Charge Up / Blasting experience Current WA Shotfirer’s Licence (or ability to obtain) Valid Manual Driver’s Licence Current First Aid & CPR Strong communication skills and ability to follow procedures Able to work independently and as part of a small crew A strong safety mindset aligned with Redpath’s values
