At Kinetic, we’re looking for a motivated HSE Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the wellbeing of our people and communities. The Opportunity As our Specialist – Health, Safety and Environment, you will provide practical, day-to-day HSE guidance and support to managers and supervisors. You’ll help drive safe work practices, reduce incidents and injuries, and support continuous improvement initiatives across our operations. This role is hands-on and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by embedding a strong safety culture. What you’ll be doing Supporting managers and supervisors with advice on workplace health, safety and environment matters Delivering cyclical HSE activities to minimise incidents, injuries and at-fault accident claims Conducting investigations and risk assessments, providing recommendations for improvement Reporting on trends and outcomes, and supporting the Manager – HSE in key projects Collaborating across People & Safety and Service Delivery teams to deliver initiatives that enhance our safety culture Travelling across Kinetic’s Melbourne depots regularly and occasionally to Tasmania. What you’ll bring A degree in health, safety and environment (or related discipline) Experience supporting leaders to manage workplace health and safety Familiarity with quality management systems such as AS/NZS4801, ISO14001 and ISO9001 Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset A current driver’s license (essential) The benefits of working with us: We are Australasia's leading mass transit bus operator and are rapidly growing.
