Key responsibilities Preparation of structural designs for network assets including, foundations, cable pits, gantries, fire walls and substation structures. Responsible for ensuring engineering designs are accurately translated into drawings and 3D models. Coordination with Secondary Systems, Mains, and other internal and external consultants to resolve design interfaces. Liaise with project managers and project teams to understand project drivers, constraints, and critical pinch points. Ensure all project deliverables are technically sound, verified, and compliant with Endeavour Energy standards and relevant Australian Standards. Maintain accurate engineering records, calculations, and documentation. Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes, tools, and engineering governance. Undertake site investigations to gather structural, geotechnical, and environmental information relevant to design. Conduct site inspections during construction to ensure design compliance. Prepare site reports and recommendations based on findings. About You Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering. 3–6 years of relevant structural engineering experience, ideally within utilities, infrastructure, or construction. Working knowledge of Australian Standards, and industry practices related to structural design. Experience preparing structural engineering designs and reports. Current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites. NSW construction white card Desirable Criteria Experience in the electricity distribution, transmission, or broader energy sector. Familiarity with substation or utility‑related civil works. Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Space Gass, Revit, Navisworks, Structural Tool kit or similar. Chartered status (CPEng) or working towards.
