As our Retail Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to manage and develop key store accounts for Panasonic Australia, driving results. You will demonstrate your analytical skills to review sales and market data to identify opportunities as well as risks to build business case recommendations that influence market performance. You will be the owner of your Retail stores understanding your customers sell through, channel inventory and have a great ability to create opportunities. This is an autonomous role requiring a high level of self-motivation and an exceptional can do and positive mindset. The key responsibilities we would trust you with: Responsibility for the NSW Stores across the full range of Panasonic's consumer electronics products. Providing our retail partners with professional sales support, merchandising, product training and adding value to sales floor. Ensuring your store plans and strategies align with the Panasonic corporate direction delivering growth in strategic categories. Actively seeking out and understanding competitor activity and market dynamics to ensure Panasonic remains relevant and on course to deliver sales revenue, profit and market share. Ensuring the focus is on sell through and to maximise sales. Forging strong relationships at all levels of your territory especially engagement with the sales floor staff to grow share within their business. Being a product champion for your customers with the ability to present the key selling benefits to win the consumer at the sales face. Managing Client relationships – gather, analyse and provide actionable insights from market to provide better decision making. Successfully executing promotions in store by working closely with Key Account Management team and Marcomms Managers to maximise return on investment The areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most to the role: Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales with Account Management or Retail experience Tertiary qualification in Business related field or equivalent Good understanding of the consumer electronic industry would be a bonus but not a must Proven ability to achieve targets/ budgets by actioning goals & objectives Align planning & execution in line with Key Account strategies & market requirements –engaging with key Stakeholders Proven ability to work with cross functional teams Strong oral and written communication This role will require travel within the state-wide on a regular basis Confident to present and provide training on product Advanced excel and presentation skills.
