Key Responsibilities : Inspect vehicles to identify issues with tyres, wheels, brakes, steering, and suspension. Identify and rectify mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles through effective diagnosis and repair. Utilise diagnostic tools to diagnose issues and propose suitable solutions Remove, repair, and replace tyres using tyre changing equipment. Perform wheel balancing to reduce vibration and improve vehicle performance. Check tyre pressure, tread depth, and tyre condition, recommending repair or replacement. Conduct wheel alignment checks and adjustments to optimise tyre wear and handling. Advise customers on appropriate tyre types based on vehicle use and road conditions. Monitor inventory and stock requirements. Use technical manuals and guidelines to perform repairs and ensure that all work adheres to the latest industry standards Skills and Qualifications Required: Possession of Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent. Comprehensive understanding of automotive systems and components. Outstanding problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
