The Opportunity Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of our equipment and maintenance operations. You’ll lead a skilled team, champion continuous improvement, and keep production running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. What you’ll be doing: Leading the maintenance team and ensuring effective delivery of preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities Managing work requests, prioritising efficiently, and minimising downtime Responding to breakdowns and call outs, providing hands ‑ on technical support when needed Identifying maintenance trends and recommending improvements to boost plant reliability Guiding and supervising contractors to ensure safe, compliant, high ‑ quality work Driving continuous improvement initiatives, RCA activities, and 5S implementation Reviewing work practices and contributing new ideas for efficiency and reliability Preparing daily shift reports to ensure visibility, accountability, and strong communication across the site What You Bring You’re a confident leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and knows how to bring out the best in a team. You stay calm under pressure, think ahead, and enjoy solving problems at the source. You’ll also bring: A trade qualification in mechanical or electrical maintenance Leadership or supervisory experience in maintenance Experience using a CMMS (SAP highly regarded) Strong troubleshooting, decision ‑ making, and communication skills Contractor management experience Availability for weekend work and after-hours call outs A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement FMCG or food manufacturing experience (advantageous but not essential) What’s in It for You?
