This role requires minimum availability of 3 days per week in the Northern and Eastern suburbs, offering consistent, meaningful work in the community. You’ll work independently in the community, helping older people maintain their safety, independence and quality of life. Assist with personal care including showering, grooming, dressing and skin checks Provide medication support by prompting, administering and supervising medications Perform domestic tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry and meal preparation Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction Transport clients to appointments and social outings Follow care plans and advocate for client needs and preferences Communicate and document client changes and concerns to the Case Manager Participate in staff training, appraisals and team meetings Contribute to quality improvement and incident management What You’ll Bring Essential: Minimum availability of 3 days per week in the Northern and Eastern suburbs Certificate III in Individual Support (or higher) Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain) Current First Aid & CPR certificates Full Australian driver’s licence Access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance Access to a smart mobile device Ability to work autonomously and adapt to client need Desirable: Italian language skills (advantageous, not essential) About Bene Aged Care Bene Aged Care is a not-for-profit, values-driven organisation dedicated to supporting older South Australians to live meaningful and dignified lives.
