The Opportunity Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Warehouse Operator (Storeperson) to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team. What you'll get to do Be a vital part of the Supply Chain Capability and contribute to the business growth strategy Handle, store and distribute Defence aviation materiel Ensure compliance with BDA and ADF safe warehouse operation policy's Support Disposal recommendations and action as required Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock recording methods in accordance with Defence supply policy Support the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting the supply chain Work closely with warehouse team in all other activity's that arise Who we're looking for Demonstrated 3 to 5 years experience in Defence aerospace/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply chain management Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologies A working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual and the application of warehousing principles A strong working knowledge of Defence Aviation Logistic IT systems such as ERP SAP The ability to work within a team Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence Security requirement Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
