Utilise your advisory expertise to provide support and advice to the Victims Redress and System Reform branch Fixed-Term (until 30 June 2027), Full-Time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service VPS Grade 5: $113,022 - $136,747 plus superannuation. About Us: Victims, Redress and System Reform (VRSR) is part of the Community Safety, Victims and Racing Group within the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS). VRSR is responsible for the delivery and reform of services to victims of crime, placing victims at the centre of our justice system, as well as direct service provision through a range of programs including the Victims of Crime Helpline, Victims Register and the Victims Assistance Program. About the Role: The Senior Program Advisor works collaboratively with stakeholders within the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments focusing on the participation of the Victorian Government in the National Redress Scheme. This means working with stakeholders, technology solutions and business processes to ensure successful outcomes for victims. The role also includes work on strategic policy and projects to enhance the operation of the National Redress Scheme. Some of your duties will include: Managing complex projects to support the whole of Government coordination of the National Redress Scheme, including managing secretariat services for committees and working groups. Preparing high quality advice and analysis to influence decisions of relevant governance bodies, including interdepartmental and interjurisdictional committees and working groups. Assisting with the management and coordination of the Victorian Government's participation in the National Redress Scheme, including reading applications for redress and allocating the applications to the responsible institution, completing templates for information requests, monitoring applications received, reviewing responses, updating databases to track information, and analysing data. About You: As an ideal candidate, you will possess: Proven analytical skills with a strong focus on attention to detail. Experience in writing project briefs, reports, service plans, and policy options and recommendations on complex issues which are clear and concise, exhaustive, and provide strong support for a preferred position or action. Ability to develop and maintain authentic and effective relationships by way of effective interpersonal skills, stakeholder engagement and victim focused processes.
