Blake Oliver Consulting is working with a global consulting firm to appoint an Account Delivery Director into a major telco environment. This is a senior leadership role responsible for running a large, complex account, sitting across delivery, client engagement, and commercial performance. You’ll be the person ultimately accountable for how the account runs day to day, and how it grows over time. The Role You’ll take ownership of a multi-tower delivery environment covering infrastructure, cloud, data centre and workplace services. This isn’t a pure delivery role, and it’s not a pure sales role either. It sits in the middle. You’ll be: Running end-to-end delivery across multiple programs and teams Acting as the senior point of contact for the client, including exec-level engagement Managing escalations, risks, and overall account health Owning the commercials, including revenue, utilisation, and margin Leading a distributed team across onshore and offshore delivery Working with sales to identify and convert growth opportunities within the account You’ll be expected to keep things moving, keep the client aligned, and step in when things start to drift. What We’re Looking For 20 years’ experience in IT services or consulting environments Strong background in telco or large-scale enterprise delivery Experience running large, complex accounts or programs Coverage across infrastructure, cloud, data centre, and EUC/workplace Comfortable operating with senior client stakeholders Experience working across onshore/offshore delivery models This will suit someone who has operated as a Delivery Director, Account Director, or similar within a large SI or consulting environment.
