The Position Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Sales Project Manager to join the team. Our client has product installed across many landmark NSW sites, with demand for safe and sustainable surfacing growing in NSW and nationwide. They are now seeking an experienced candidate who is passionate about sales and project management to represent, lead and drive the growth in NSW. Key aspects of the role include: Managing a variety of B2B and B2G customers including schools, councils and property developers. Nurturing and managing key stakeholder relationships with Landscape Architects, playground equipment manufacturers, park maintenance teams and primary contractors. Driving a sales strategy that leads to winning new customers and business. Visiting customers and customer sites, performing site measure ups, building quotes and closing sales. Project/Job management, which will include working closely with the installation contractors to ensure deadlines are met and quality objectives are achieved. Ensuring 3PL stock is allocated and picked in accordance with your job scheduling. Leading and maintaining the client's brand reputation in NSW as a solution focused and quality playground surfacing provider; and Travel within NSW, with some national and international travel from time to time. You can expect meaningful support from our client's Auckland NZ based head office and collaboration with the QLD and VIC based sales managers. The Candidate You will excel in this role because: you bring B2B or B2G sales experience to effectively manage customer relationships and drive business growth; you possess project management experience and specifications skills to effectively coordinate installations and oversee project delivery; you're practically minded and a good problem solver. You'll be able to co-coordinate and oversee the installation teams, including periodic involvement in the physical side of the job; you're a motivated self starter looking for a genuine long term opportunity that you can build on and manage; you have a strong work ethic and disciplined approach to what you do; you're an entrepreneurial and strategic thinker, but know how to look after the details; and you're comfortable with working autonomously and look to be rewarded for your own efforts, but appreciate being part of and working with a close knit team. Ideally you will have experience in the playground or parks and recreation industries, or flooring / landscaping although not essential. Remuneration will be a combination of base salary and commission, plus car, phone and expenses.
