About the West Region Delivery Team The West Region Delivery Team (WRDT) is delivering one of Sydney Water’s most significant infrastructure programs, with a circa $2bn pipeline of works over 10 years. Operating in a collaborative, alliance-style environment, WRDT brings together delivery partners to plan and deliver critical water infrastructure that supports the growth of Greater Sydney. About the opportunity We are seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst to support the delivery of the WRDT program. Working closely with delivery, commercial and program leadership teams, you will interpret business requirements and translate them into meaningful reporting that improves visibility, supports decision making and drives better outcomes. Day to day you will; Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, accurate and timely insights across the program. Analyse data across cost, schedule, risk and delivery performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities. Translate business requirements into structured, practical reporting outputs that support both operational and executive decision making. Support the preparation of high-quality reports, presentations and executive-level slide decks. Work closely with stakeholders to improve how data is captured, structured and used across the program. Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency, consistency and usability. Contribute to improving data quality and reporting frameworks across the program. What you’ll bring Strong experience in data analysis and reporting within a complex project or infrastructure environment. Advanced Power BI capability, including dashboard development and data modelling. Ability to interpret data and provide clear, practical insights, not just produce reports. Strong commercial awareness, with an understanding of how data supports delivery outcomes. Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate ambiguous requirements into structured outputs. High attention to detail and ability to present information clearly and professionally. Strong communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level presentations and reports.
