Job Description Griffith University is seeking a proactive and analytical Donor & Prospect Intelligence Officer to join our purpose‑led Advancement team. In this pivotal role, you will deliver high‑quality research and strategic insights that directly strengthen the University’s philanthropic pipeline and support transformational fundraising initiatives. Your work will help identify future major donors, inform fundraising strategy, and equip our leaders with the intelligence they need to build meaningful relationships. From analysing prospect data to preparing insightful research briefs and monitoring key philanthropic trends, you will play a central role in advancing Griffith’s mission to create a brighter future through education and research. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in research, data analysis, information management, fundraising intelligence, libraries/archives, higher education, or any field where your ability to synthesise information and communicate insights shines. Key responsibilities include but not limited to: Undertake high‑quality prospect and donor research to support strategic fundraising priorities and inform engagement activity. Identify and assess prospective major gift, alumni, and bequest donors to strengthen the University’s philanthropic pipeline. Prepare clear, accurate and actionable research briefs and updates for fundraisers, senior staff and key events. Leverage data, analytics and emerging AI‑enabled tools to synthesise information, build and maintain reports and dashboards (including within Salesforce and linked reporting platforms), and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support fundraising strategy and decision‑making. Contribute to the effective management and optimisation of fundraising portfolios and the major gift pipeline through the provision of data‑driven insights and analysis. Maintain accurate and current donor and prospect information within the CRM and support data quality, reporting and information management initiatives. About you The successful candidate will hold a bachelor level qualification or have an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in research, data analysis, information management, libraries/archives, philanthropy, or a related field. What we can offer This is a continuing, full-time position primarily based at either Griffith University Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples. Salary Range The full-time base salary for a HEW Level 6 is in the range $91,843- $97,964 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total FTE package is in the range $107,456 - $114,618 per annum.
