Job Description The successful candidate will be responsible for: •Serve as the first point of contact within the DC, creating a welcoming, secure, and professional atmosphere for visitors, contractors, and employees. •Ensure proper entry procedures including verifying credentials, issuing passes, and communicating essential safety guidelines. •Manage visits, phone calls, emails, and inquiries. •Maintain accurate records of visitor and contractor entries, deliveries, and security-related incidents, ensuring compliance with security protocols and workplace safety standards. •Document safety briefings and compliance agreements for contractors, ensuring adherence to workplace safety protocols. •Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring documentation aligns with inventory records to prevent losses. •Assist in preparing reports that enhance safety, security, and loss prevention measures, ensuring compliance with global and local regulations. •Support emergency response procedures and coordination, assisting in evacuations, incident reporting and ensuring visitors and contractors are accounted for and properly guided during incidents. •Collaborate with security teams to uphold safety protocols, monitor restricted areas, and ensure contractors follow established guidelines. •Provide guidance on evacuation plans, emergency exits, and PPE requirements. •Manage office supplies, ensuring safety materials (e.g., first aid kits, PPE, fire extinguishers) are stocked and accessible. •Assist in scheduling and organising safety training sessions.
