The Opportunity We’re looking for a proactive Plant Administrator to support the effective management of our plant and equipment assets and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. As the Plant Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the Plant Manager and wider operational teams. Your role will ensure our plant and equipment fleet is safe, compliant, cost-effective, and well-utilised. This is a diverse role where no two days are the same — from coordinating maintenance schedules to preparing reports and supporting procurement activities, you will be central to the efficiency and reliability of our plant operations. Your main responsibilities will include: Support the management of plant and equipment assets. Coordinate preventative maintenance, servicing, repairs, inspections, and compliance documentation. Manage registrations, insurance, warranties, infringements, and accurate asset records. Assist in ensuring plant operations meet safety, environmental, and legislative requirements. Support safety programs, incident investigations, and continuous improvement activities. Coordinate supplier quotes, comparisons, recommendations, and procurement records. Monitor contractor performance and support tendering or procurement processes. Assist with maintenance and capital expenditure budgeting. Track operating costs, fuel usage, repairs, and provide variance reporting. Maintain asset management systems and support digital tools for maintenance planning. Prepare and deliver reports on utilisation, compliance, costs, and performance. Provide assistance to operational teams, site teams, project managers, and contractors. Support training records, communications, and toolbox materials. About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: No mechanical background required, but mechanical aptitude and understanding of field operations is beneficial. Proven experience in plant administration or similar operational administration role. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Comfortable working independently and engaging with field teams. High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities. Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
