The Salvation Army Emergency Services (SAES) Response State Coordinator plays a central role in leading this work across the state. This role ensures our emergency services are delivered with excellence, consistency and care, and that our teams are equipped to respond when people need us most. About the role As the SAES Response State Coordinator, you will lead and coordinate all emergency and disaster management services within the state. You will oversee SAES contracts, guide state response operations, and ensure our programs are supported by capable staff, volunteers and well-maintained resources. You will work closely with the National SAES team, state government partners, local mission expressions and external agencies to deliver high-quality, person-centred emergency response services. You will also contribute to national planning, frameworks and practice to support consistent and innovative service delivery across Australia. This permanent full-time position is based in Malaga with flexible start and finish times within standard office hours. Additional on call hours are required to support WA’s 24-hour emergency response contracts. The role reports to the Senior Program Manager. Pay is in accordance with a SCHADS Level 6.
