The Careers are Better at Hungry Jack's! The Cloud & Infrastructure Manager will be a senior technology leadership role responsible for all Hungry Jacks Infrastructure, Cloud & Networking services. Hungry Jack’s has a footprint of over 480 stores, 5 support offices and over 25,000 employees nationally who are critically reliant on the availability and performance of IT Infrastructure & Cloud services. This role will have primary responsibility for the cloud and broader Technology Infrastructure strategy, design, implementation, support and ongoing maintenance of these systems. This includes the management of hybrid cloud resources, Azure, networks, SD-WAN, servers, end user compute, data retention, backup storage, ensuring availability, performance, and security of the company's IT systems. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to implement technologies and improve existing systems whilst maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities: Infrastructure and Cloud Technology Strategy Owner Design and implement IT infrastructure and Azure services to meet the needs of Hungry Jack’s. Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure, end user compute and cloud systems. Manage the lifecycle of servers, storage, networks, voice, and associated systems (restaurant, support offices and cloud platforms) Management of some Infrastructure components of smaller related companies to Hungry Jacks Vendor management of a number of SaaS and managed services is key activity Support the service delivery function in providing break/fix and reliable infrastructure across Hungry Jacks Manage 3rd Party service provider performance to agreed standards Manage the commercials and cost performance of Azure and Infrastructure services Ensuring the optimisation of key license contracts including Microsoft. Support the Service Management function in ensuring customer satisfaction levels are met, & continuous improvement of Cloud & Infrastructure services Implement strong security measures, including identity access management, patching, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery planning. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and key external stakeholders Develop, maintain and mature relationships with ITLT Develop, maintain and mature relationships with Leadership Team Support technology strategy definition and communication to stakeholders Strong partner and stakeholder management Communicate the Cloud and Infrastructure Strategy to executive team, and other business stakeholders. Work with internal stakeholders and vendors to identify and implement new technologies to improve IT systems. Vendor management ensuring new orders, implementations and existing systems are managed in accordance with Hungry Jack’s expectations. Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures as they relate to IT Infrastructure, Cloud services, and Support Services. Regular reporting on service health of IT Infrastructure, Cloud services, and Service Delivery function Strong partner and stakeholder management People leadership, team mentoring, lead a team of IT professionals ensuring IT systems are maintained at optimal levels Maintain a deep understanding of Hungry Jack’s store operations Evaluate and recommend IT solutions to support business goals and objectives. Assist with annual financial planning (opex & capex) Build and Manage technology team resources, including team leadership, performance management, training requirements Experience and Qualifications: Essential: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field At least 4 years of experience in a similar role Strong enterprise infrastructure and hybrid cloud expertise, with 7 years hands‑on experience across servers, M365, networking (SDWAN), backups, firewalls, plus 10 years maintaining on‑prem Azure Hybrid environments Demonstrated experience managing relationships with service providers. Desirable: Experience in the retail or fast-food industry is preferred but not required Competencies : Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Cloud Skills, Infrastructure background & technical experience Leadership
