Job Description Provide strategic financial advice and insights to operational and clinical leaders. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting for complex clinical areas. Deliver detailed clinical costing, activity analysis, and service modelling, including lab and program costing. Analyse cost centres, overtime impacts, rostering patterns, and operational drivers to support informed decision‑making. Build robust financial models to assess new services, business cases, and clinical initiatives. Identify risks, opportunities, and efficiency improvements across a large, multifaceted healthcare environment. Partner with stakeholders to drive accountability for financial outcomes and support operational planning. Develop automated tools, templates, and process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis. The Successful Applicant Preference to CPA/CA qualified candidates Brings strong financial analysis, modelling and budgeting experience from a large, complex organisation, ideally within healthcare or another clinically focused environment. Has proven experience in clinical costing, activity analysis, cost centre management, and understanding operational impacts such as rosters and overtime. Possesses advanced Excel and financial modelling capability, with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights to clinical and operational leaders. Demonstrates excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to partner confidently with clinicians, managers, and senior executives. Displays strong problem‑solving skills, initiative, and the ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities.
