Role : Manager, Finance - South West Operations Location : Bunbury region Employment type : Permanent Roster : Full Time - 38 hour week - 9 day fortnight option About the Role Tronox is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Manager Finance, South West Operations to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. This pivotal role is responsible for driving accurate and timely manufacturing cost and fixed asset accounting, while leading the budgeting, forecasting and monthly variance analysis for South West Operations. Working in close partnership with the South West Operations leadership teams, you will provide high-quality financial insight to support operational decision-making and performance outcomes. Reporting directly to the Regional Controller Australia , you will be a key member of both the South West Round Table leadership team and the Regional Finance leadership team, contributing to strategic and operational discussions at a senior level. You will act as the primary finance business partner to the Site Directors, ensuring robust financial support, analysis and guidance. In addition, you will lead a team of direct reports supporting South West Operations and provide informal leadership to regional finance team members based in the Bunbury region. This is a high-impact leadership role offering the opportunity to influence operational performance, build strong stakeholder relationships and play a critical role in the success of Tronox’s South West Operations. Key Requirements: Accurate accounting for costs through transaction recording and alignment of forecast and actuals Unit Cost Financial Expert; Primary support on cost analysis, variance analysis, and financial support for Unit Operations Measuring and analysis of business drivers and KPI's against targets and scenario thresholds Partner with the Business Analyst to ensure Capital project costs and benefits are aligned Seeks ways to improve upon accounting processes and procedures to promote efficiency and cost savings, leveraging the wider Regional and Global teams Implement continuous improvement requests from business partners either local, regional or global Ensure goals and objectives are aligned with global, regional, site finance and the site, regional operational and functional teams About You A Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or Finance &Membership of professional accounting body (CA, CPA or CIMA) Significant experience at senior level, within global organisation (production, manufacturing or mining environment would be desirable) and leading large teams. An influencer who can collaborate and lead change. Understanding of SOX requirements and the maintenance of internal controls.
