Business Analyst 12-month contract, with a possible extension Hybrid work arrangements NV1 Clearance The Role Our client is seeking a highly engaging Business Analyst to play a key role in assessing and analysing ICT systems within a complex environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Engage with key stakeholders to define and document the scope of work and required deliverables. Consult with system owners and users to assess and capture: Business and operational requirements. ICT system and software requirements. Support models and dependencies. End‑to‑end business processes. Engage with internal ICT and support teams to understand: Current support arrangements. System infrastructure and integrations. Processes impacting operational areas. Analyse findings and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities. Prepare clear, well‑structured reports and documentation for senior management, outlining findings, recommendations, and options. Key Capabilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions. Proven experience engaging and communicating with stakeholders at both technical and non‑technical levels. Demonstrated ability to document and model business processes related to ICT and complex systems. Experience capturing and validating ICT system requirements, including specialist or technical equipment. Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Technical Requirements SFIA: Business Modelling – Level 5 (or equivalent capability). Technical Specialist level (or equivalent professional experience).
