CFO (Outsourced / Advisory) - Sydney Join a leading startup-focused accounting and CFO firm working with some of Australia's most ambitious founders and high-growth businesses. We're looking for a commercially minded CFO to support a portfolio of startup and scaleup clients across Sydney and nationally. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you'll act as the most senior finance voice, partnering directly with founders and leadership teams to drive performance and growth. The Role Reporting to the owners and co-founders of this very well resourced, global advisory business, you'll manage 8-12 existing clients at a time and have the option to grow by business development. Key responsibilities include: Act as the lead CFO for a portfolio of startup and scaleup clients, technology focussed industries Partner closely with founders on strategy, cash flow, runway, pricing and hiring decisions Own forecasting, budgeting, board reporting and investor-ready financials Support capital raises, debt funding, grants and M&A activity where relevant Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable commercial insight Work closely with internal accounting, tax, R&D and advisory teams Represent the firm within the Sydney startup ecosystem Contribute to new client relationships through your network and industry engagement About you Experienced CFO or senior finance leader, ideally within high-growth or startup environments.
