About The Role This role sits within the Accessibility Team and provides essential administrative and project support to help deliver accessibility outcomes across the V/Line network. As an Accessibility Officer, you will support the team with day-to-day coordination, data management, and reporting activities that contribute to a more inclusive customer experience. You will also manage the creation of regular Accessibility Newsletters You will work closely with internal teams and occasionally external stakeholders to help keep accessibility commitments on track and ensure information is accurately captured, organised and shared. Key accountabilities include: Supporting the monitoring and tracking of V/Line’s Accessibility Action Plan, including preparing monthly updates and progress reports. Assisting with the preparation of broader accessibility reporting, including annual reports and submissions to external departments. Completing data entry and reviewing accessibility r elated cases to ensure information is captured correctly and can be closed or escalated as needed. Providing meeting support, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and coordinating follow-upactions. Managing administrative tasks such as processing invoices, managing stock requests and providing general team coordination and administrative support. Location and travel considerations This role may involve some regional travel to support accessibility initiatives and projects across the network. The main location is 452 Flinders Lane, Melbourne About You We’re looking for someone energetic who enjoys administrative work, is organised, and is comfortable supporting a team that works across a variety of accessibility initiatives and projects. You don’t need to have a background in accessibility, but an interest in accessibility and inclusive practice is welcome. Demonstrated administrative skills, including managing information, organising tasks and supporting team members. Experience in a prior office administration or team coordination role is highly regarded. Proficient in preparing clear written materials such as meeting notes, reports, and status updates, and confident using the Microsoft Office Suite to complete daily tasks. Communicates clearly and respectfully, demonstrating a person first language and an inclusive mindset. Familiarity with the regional V/Line network and broader public transport systems. A willingness to learn and contribute to a team committed to improving accessibility for the Victorian community. This position is paid under the V/Line Rail Operations and Administration Employees Agreement 2023, within the Clerk C1–C2 classification range, with a base salary of $82,073 to $93,171.
