We are seeking an experienced Asset Performance Officer to play a key role in managing and optimising our property and asset portfolio across residential aged care and community facilities. This is a senior, hands-on role suited to a facilities, asset or construction professional who enjoys balancing strategic asset planning with practical project delivery. About the role Reporting to the Manager, Assets and Facilities, you will support lifecycle asset management, facilities maintenance and capital works across Ozcare’s portfolio. Your work will directly contribute to safe, welcoming, home‑like environments for residents, clients and staff. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating asset condition assessments, lifecycle planning and maintenance programs Managing preventive and reactive maintenance, including insurance rectification works Monitoring asset performance, budgets and risk-based priorities Managing external contractors and service providers Providing technical oversight and end‑to‑end delivery of upgrade and construction projects Supporting financial analysis, business cases and funding submissions Ensuring compliance with WHS, regulatory and quality requirements Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders About you You are a confident professional with strong technical judgement, commercial awareness and a collaborative leadership style. You take pride in delivering high‑quality outcomes in complex operational environments. You will bring: 7–10 years’ experience in asset, facilities or project management A trade qualification or construction/project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) Strong experience in asset lifecycle planning, maintenance and capital works delivery Sound financial, budget and reporting skills Excellent stakeholder management and communication capability A practical understanding of property development and regulatory requirements Experience in healthcare, aged care or not‑for‑profit environments (highly regarded) Why join Ozcare?
