We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our team at our Braeside Head Office. About the Role This is a key role within our Finance and People & Culture teams, responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing across multiple states and employee groups. You will play an important role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll, while also supporting reporting, system improvements, and employee queries. Key Responsibilities Process weekly payrolls across multiple entities Ensure compliance with Modern Awards, legislation, and company policies Maintain employee payroll records and manage changes (new starters, terminations, variations) Respond to payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner Assist with payroll reporting and analysis Support audits and ensure accurate record-keeping Collaborate with People & Culture on employee data and compliance matters About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven experience in a Payroll Officer role Strong understanding of Modern Awards and payroll compliance High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Highly Regarded Experience with UKG Ready Experience with Payroll Metrics payroll software Knowledge or experience in Return to Work/Workers compensation processes Why Join S&A?
