Introduction About The Channel 7 Children's Research Foundation The Channel 7 Children's Research Foundation is dedicated to enabling healthy, happy thriving kids by generating new knowledge vital to improving health, education and welfare outcomes for children. We support innovative South Australian research that strives to make a positive impact on children today and into the future – from preconception through to birth and beyond - whether in the fields of basic science, clinical studies, or community-based research. Description About the Role This role supports the full lifecycle of the Foundation’s grants programs while ensuring smooth operations, strong governance and high-quality administrative support. You’ll work closely with researchers, partners and internal teams to deliver well run grant rounds and effective organisational processes. In this role you will: Coordinate multiple annual grant rounds, timelines, documentation and communications Administer agreements, payments, reporting, acquittals and compliance processes Maintain accurate data, systems, templates and reporting for leadership and board use Provide governance support including minutes, board papers and regulatory requirements Support donors, partners, and internal teams with responsive, service focused communication Skills And Experiences Knowledge, skills and experience Demonstrated experience coordinating grants, research administration, philanthropy or NFP programs Strong organisational capability across timelines, documentation, compliance and stakeholder communication Confidence working with grant agreements, reporting requirements, payments and progress tracking High-level writing and editing skills, including plain English documentation and templates Strong data capability with CRM/grants systems, spreadsheets and reporting tools Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, solutions focused approach Ability to build positive relationships with researchers, partners, donors and internal teams Education and Qualifications Degree or equivalent experience in health, research, public policy, evaluation, philanthropy or related field (preferred) Experience in research administration or medical research funding (desirable) South Australian Working with Children Check (required) Current SA Driver’s Licence (desirable) Why join The Channel 7 Children's Research Foundation?
