This opportunity has come about due to a major internal project, creating a need for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to step into a key BAU role supporting the wider business. Initially a 12-month FTC, there is potential to extend to 24 months, project dependant — offering both immediate impact and longer-term stability. The role can be located in either of their Sydney or Melbourne offices. Why this role? You’ll work closely with the Head of Corporate Tax and broader finance team, playing a key role in maintaining a strong tax control environment while also providing practical, commercially focused advice to the business. Key responsibilities: Managing corporate tax compliance and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting. Compliance is consolidation and review only as the preparation is completed within the finance team, Supporting tax effect accounting and financial reporting requirements, Providing tax advice aligned to business objectives Maintaining and strengthening the tax governance and control framework Supporting tax audits, disputes and ATO engagement Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across finance and the business Liaising with external advisors, auditors and tax authorities Supporting Board and Audit Committee reporting Driving process improvements and efficiencies across tax processes What we’re looking for Circa 6–10 years’ Australian corporate tax experience Currently working in a Big4, large mid-tier or a large corporate environment with a professional services background CA / CPA / Masters of Tax qualified (or equivalent) Strong technical grounding across corporate tax compliance and reporting Experience providing commercial tax advice to a large business/businesses Exposure to governance, risk and tax control frameworks Confident communicator with the ability to partner with stakeholders A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a high-quality in-house environment with strong systems, clear processes and genuine exposure across both advisory and compliance.
