Description The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for the following: Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations incl. BAS, PAYG, FBT Provide tax advice and insights to support business decisions and financial strategies. Assist in managing tax audits and liaise with external tax authorities as required. Analyse and interpret tax legislation to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency. Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to align tax strategies with financial goals. Identify opportunities for tax optimisation and risk minimisation. Prepare regular tax reports and presentations for internal stakeholders. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and their potential impact on the organisation. Profile A successful Senior Tax Analyst should have: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CA/CPA/CTA or relevant qualification is an advantage Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in tax software and financial systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities. Effective communication skills to work collaboratively across teams.
