Concrete Labourer – Full-Time - Ingleburn Ready to build your skills in a hands‑on construction role? We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Concrete Labourer to join our team, starting from our Ingleburn premises and working across residential, commercial, and civil construction sites. About the Role As a Concrete Labourer, you’ll support day‑to‑day site operations including formwork preparation, concrete placement, finishing assistance, and general labouring. You’ll work closely with supervisors and trades to ensure each job is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role is ideal for someone who’s physically fit, eager to learn, and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions. What You’ll Be Doing Concrete Works Assist with formwork, boxing, and reinforcing steel Prepare sites through excavation, levelling, and ground prep Support concrete pours, spreading, screeding, and finishing Assist finishing trades with trowelling, edging, and curing Apply release agents and curing compounds as required Site Preparation & Clean-Up Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment Maintain a clean, safe, and organised worksite Remove waste and assist with site pack‑down Wash down tools, equipment, and concrete trucks Safety & Compliance Follow WHS procedures and SWMS Use PPE correctly at all times Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions Work safely around machinery and mobile equipment Equipment & Tools Use hand and power tools safely (shovels, grinders, vibrators, screeds) Assist with basic tool and equipment maintenance Report damaged or faulty equipment Teamwork & Site Support Follow instructions from supervisors and leading hands Work cooperatively to meet daily targets Assist other trades and site personnel as needed What We’re Looking For Essential Physically fit and capable of manual labour Understanding of basic construction safety Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic Able to follow instructions and work well in a team Construction White Card Desirable Experience in concrete or construction labouring Formwork or concrete finishing experience Driver’s licence (C, MR, HR, HC) Confined space or other construction tickets Silica Awareness training Forklift or Dogging licence Personal Attributes Safety‑focused and responsible Strong attention to detail Positive attitude and willingness to learn Comfortable working outdoors in all weather Physical Requirements Regular lifting, bending, shovelling, and standing Working on uneven surfaces and in varying weather Early starts, long hours, or overtime during pours Work Environment Outdoor construction sites Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and concrete products Work across residential, commercial, and civil projects If you’re hardworking, safety‑minded, and ready to join a team that values reliability and effort, we’d love to hear from you.
