ConsultANZ is looking for a Design & Estimation Manager for a leading piling and deep foundations company in Sydney . This senior role will see you lead a national team and manage both design and estimation work. Main Duties: Lead and mentor a team of 10–15 engineers. Split responsibilities between design and estimation (50/50). Work with operations to meet design needs. Prepare piling designs based on project and soil conditions. Review geotechnical reports and choose the right solutions. Estimate costs for materials, equipment, and labor. Recommend safe and cost-effective solutions. Use design software such as Wallap, Piglet, and Plaxis. Build and maintain cost estimation templates in Excel. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar. 10 years of experience in design and estimation for piling or deep foundations. Strong background in managing teams and delivering projects. Skilled in MS Office, Wallap, Piglet, and ideally Plaxis 2D/3D. Excellent cost estimation and budget management skills. Clear communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach. Ability to work well with clients and internal teams.
