Requirements Driver’s licence preferred (to ensure reliable attendance and TAFE travel) Basic toolkit (ruler, pencil) Steel cap safety boots (manufacturing standard) Work pants and navy work shirts About the Apprenticeship Study Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Monthly RDO Workshop-based role (100% onsite – no site work required) 2nd year apprentices preferred (Year 12 completed or not completed) You will be required to attend TAFE when scheduled and commit to completing your apprenticeship. Duties May Include TIG welding (primarily stainless steel) Operating guillotines and folding machines Reading and interpreting technical drawings General sheetmetal fabrication Using power tools (grinders, etc.) Assembly of commercial kitchen components and applications A weld test may be required during the interview process.
